Schools in Japan

From the school gates to the classroom the time taken is ten minutes. Shoes are taken off. They are shoved in a shoe box. Then another pair is taken out and worn. This is the daily morning ritual of all kids in Japan. Some places are changing but they make up 0.1% of the population. Old habits die hard and that is very true of traditions in Japan.
